 :: PURPOSE

The Interdisciplinary Studies Program on Prevention and Prosecution of Economic Crime (EcoCrim) is an initiative of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, established by Rectorate resolution of the National University of Rosario. The EcoCrim program addresses economic crime issues from an interdisciplinary perspective, aiming to strengthen more effective law enforcement.

Our objectives focus on three key areas. EcoCrim aims to establish itself as a hub for the generation and dissemination of specialized knowledge in economic crime.

  • Cryptocurrencies: Accounting and legal tools to prevent and investigate crimes committed through digital asset transactions
  • Security forces involved in the networks of organized crime: A multidisciplinary approach to judicial cases in the Province of Santa Fe
  • Interdisciplinary work in the new accusatory justice system: Available structures for investigating the economics of crime in Argentina
