During the meeting, an agreement was signed for the development of dehydrated foods in Rosario.

The rector of the Universidad Nacional de RosarioFranco Bartolacci visited the Dehydrated Food Plant at the National University of La Plata, where he was welcomed by Fernando Tauber, Vice President of the Academic Department. During the meeting, they toured the facilities, learned about the production models, and discussed the operation and evolution of this production facility.

During the visit, both universities signed an agreement to move forward with the installation of a similar plant in Rosario. It's worth noting that the UNR has its own Public Food Plant project, currently under development, aimed at contributing to improving nutritional quality in vulnerable populations.

The agreement seeks to consolidate an exchange in research, production, and management for the development of healthy foods, dehydrated foods, their packaging and logistics, assistance in nutrition and safe food processing conditions, and management and storage of raw materials and processed foods.

The signed agreement consolidates the exchange of knowledge on production and management for the development of healthy foods.

Likewise, UNLP is committed to sharing knowledge associated with the production lines, including designs, layouts, planning, and all the information necessary for developing a project with the same technological characteristics for the production of healthy foods based on dehydrated foods.

Finally, the agreement stipulates that the parties agree to collaborate on the joint development of food products; design common strategies to reduce production costs; and promote actions to institutionalize joint production strategies at other national universities.

The plant model operating in La Plata has established itself as a benchmark in the production of dehydrated foods for social and food assistance programs. Its structure combines scientific work, technological innovation, and collaboration with various levels of government, demonstrating how public universities can directly impact improving the population's quality of life.
