Sexist violence and hate speech

A Case Clinic was held with different teams specialized in addressing gender violence at the National and Provincial Universities of Córdoba, Entre Ríos and Santa Fe.

Within the framework of the annual meetings held by the Interuniversity Network for Gender Equality and against Violence (RUGE-CIN) together with the Gender and Sexualities Area of ​​the Universidad Nacional de Rosario organized this day of Case Clinic “Sexist violence and hate speech”. 

On October 18, teams specialized in addressing gender violence from National and Provincial Universities of Córdoba, Entre Ríos and Santa Fe met virtually. The call was addressed exclusively to RUGE representatives; violence care teams; teams of existing devices in each university linked to violence care; university personnel related to this task such as legal advisors, socio-educational cabinets, health care cabinets, etc.; in order to address problems related to the Case Clinic. 

 Through work in committees, topics such as: 

• Linkage with legal and administrative procedures advisory spaces, coordinated by Romina Scocozza and Marcela Mancini. 

• Articulation with institutions and spaces external to the university, coordinated by Camila Quargnenti Giraudo and Florencia Rovetto.

• Protocols: appropriation, accessibility and challenges for their updating, coordinated by Luciana Basso and Gonzalo Molina.

To close this session, the committees shared their assessment of what each participant had presented. The organization of the Case Clinic aims to continue building meeting spaces to discuss the work carried out and the challenges ahead.
