From July 19 to 23, the exhibition "Tinta Negra: Semana Fontanarrosa" is presented at the Espacio Cultural Universitario (ECU), San Martín 750. The invitation is to commemorate the work of the humorist from Rosario, get to know the works of new artists and participate in workshops of drawing.

The gates of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) remain open in the second week of winter holidays with a proposal for all ages with Roberto “el Negro” Fontanarrosa at the center of the scene. This is the exhibition “Tinta Negra: Semana Fontanarrosa” that was inaugurated on Tuesday the 19th and can be visited until July 23 from 15 to 19 p.m. at the Espacio Cultural Universitario (ECU), San Martín 750. In the first week with great success, "Visible the invisible" was presented, a science fair that had the boys as the protagonist.

The opening of the meeting was very well attended and had the emotional participation of relatives of the comedian from Rosario who passed away 15 years ago. UNR rector Franco Bartolacci toured the exhibition together with the mayor of the city Pablo Javkin and Gabirela Mahy, the Negro's widow, who thanked the tribute and remarked that most of the exposed jokes are still valid in the current situation in the country.

“We are very happy because it is the first time that the ECU is open on vacation, with this exhibition we join the tributes to Roberto Fontanarrosa, who is a registered trademark of Rosario in the world. We aspire that this Meeting of the Story, Drawing and Illustration is the first and then year after year is a space to recover the work of the Black and also to value young artists who continue to expand these genres”, summarized Bartolacci.

Pablo Silvestri, curator of the exhibition, presented every corner of the exhibition that, in addition to works by Fontanarrosa, exhibits works by Pablo Boffelli and Jazmín Varela. “It is not just for children, but for the whole family, so that the public can participate, can create, activate, and not just be an observer. Black Ink exists because of Black, it refers to drawing, it is a meeting of cartoonists, cartoonists, artists who activate the genre. He has bequeathed us a very interesting, versatile work, which 15 years later continues to generate this”, he explained.

Bartolacci remarked: "It is an activity of commemoration and enjoyment within the framework of the holidays, with much to see and much to do, there will be plays, projections of sports portraits, drawing workshops, screen printing, an illustrators' fair living in the sample context. We hope that Rosario appropriates the space, that they walk around for free, share with her sons and daughters, join the workshops”.

The exhibition also commemorates the 50th anniversary of the first appearance of two of its most popular characters, Inodoro Pereyra and his dog Mendieta, who together with Eulogia are impersonated by actors from the play "Pereyra Toilet, The Sanitary Ranger" who interact with the public, improvise in the corridors, lend themselves to photos and even are encouraged to put on the pedestrian.

On Friday and Saturday there will be a Fair of independent publications, a Fair of illustrations and drawings with the setting of DJ - Ani Bookx.

Theatrical work by the Crespinteatre group of María Caila, actress and director, disciple of Norberto Campos and member of the Grupo de la Acción with which they staged the unforgettable version of Inodoro Pereyra. The device works as a "cartoon in motion", with airs of radio drama and Creole serial, with the characters escaped from Fontanarrosa's nib. A popular parody that at times presents reminiscences of our gaucho literature.
