La Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) was appointed to the vice presidency of research at the United Nations Center for Academic Impact, UNAI for its acronym in English, in research for climate action.
The selection as a global benchmark in research for Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG 13) for the 2025-2027 period is a recognition of our university's extensive history of scientific production on topics relevant to the environmental agenda. This designation comes to UNR after having hosted the same Sustainable Development Goal from 2020 to 2024.
It is worth noting that SDG 13, which is part of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, calls for urgent action to combat climate change and its effects, recognizing that it is a problem that affects everyone and is primarily caused by human activities that increase greenhouse gases.
