UNR in the Region

The UNR Program in the Region seeks to establish links with municipalities and communes to bring the Public University closer to those who have not yet had access to the educational offer and training paths that extend to all levels. By working with communities, governments, public-private institutions, civil society organizations and their inhabitants, strategic lines for territorial development can be built, raised from needs that are identified, and then train technical teams and management of municipalities and communes, which favor the actions and innovation of local policies.

The Program for Training, Research and Addressing social conflicts for the construction of Cultures of Peace aims to train actors from different community areas in dialogue, facilitation, mediation, peaceful transformation of conflicts and construction of cultures of peace. The aim is to direct these sections of training to the harmonious strengthening of work spaces and community relationships, to work on the denaturalization of the use of violence as a legitimate way of addressing conflicts, to promote the consolidation of collaborative interpersonal relationships and form peace multipliers.
