The first round of face-to-face meetings with male officials from management teams ended.

Since October, the Gender and Masculinity Workshop-Course has been held for male civil servants in management teams. The training is intended for male officials who make up the management teams of the rectorate and the 15 academic units dependent on the UNR (Rector, Vice-Rector, Deans and Vice-Deans, Secretaries, Undersecretaries and Directors). The course-workshop has two parts, the first consists of four asynchronous virtual meetings and the second part is a face-to-face closing workshop "Masculinities and gender at the University".

Within the framework of the actions aimed at guaranteeing the implementation of the Micaela Law, we completed a first round of face-to-face meetings with the male members of the management teams of the Faculties of Law, Architecture, Planning and Design, Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Psychology and the Superior School of Commerce.

The objective of the training is to introduce the participants to the fields of reflection on gender and masculinities, taking into account their strategic role in the conduct and management of university policies.

The minimum contents of the training are: normative and subordinate masculinities - mandates, privileges and costs of masculinity - violence and complicity - free, diverse and non-sexist masculinities - masculinities and gender at the University.

In 2022 we will continue to meet with the officials of the remaining academic units with the conviction that building a more diverse, egalitarian University free of sexist violence is a collective responsibility.

The detail of the training already completed is attached.
