Maria Fernanda Foresi (22-11-64/12-01-25)

Professor of Pedagogy, Philosophy and Psychology; Graduate in Social Pedagogy; Specialist in Management and Leadership of the Educational System; in Social Sciences; in New Childhoods and Youth. Her relationship with the UNR is long-standing, especially with the Teaching Residency chair of the School of Education Sciences of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts, where she was a co-training teacher since the 1990s.

He participated in the creation of the Network of Practice Teachers - created by said chair in 2002 - and in the professional development actions carried out within that framework. He was a member of the PICTO-2005 research team of the project entitled "The construction of professional teaching knowledge in the first processes of professional socialization. The insertion of teacher graduates from the southern area of ​​the Province of Santa Fe in the institutions of the environment" in which 14 institutes from the southern area of ​​the Province of Santa Fe and 40 researchers participated, directed by the aforementioned chair. In these activities, he played a fundamental role in the articulation process between the Higher Education Institutes and the UNR. From 2020 onwards, he played a fundamental role in the transformation of the provincial Network of Practice Teachers as a National Network of the Field of Practice made up of professors from both teacher training institutes and universities.

She served as a tenured professor of the Teaching Residency chair of the Education Sciences degree from 2019 until the end of 2024 - when she retired - playing a fundamental role in the virtualization imposed by COVID 2020 and in the subsequent hybridization process of the chair. Period in which, in addition, she collaborated with the Academic and Learning Area of ​​​​the UNR during the years 2020 and 2021 in the "Proposal for a new Study Plan Ordinance". Also, she participated in various advisory processes to Faculties dependent on the University.

Currently, she works as Coordinator of the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Training Accompaniment Practices and as a teacher of the Seminar on Pedagogical Theories of Teacher Training, both in said Diploma and in the distance learning courses approved by CONEAU: Specialization in Teaching Practice, Master's Degree in Teaching Practice (academic) and Master's Degree in Teaching in the Field of Training in Professional Practices (professional). She has also been a professor of this Seminar in the Specialization in Teaching in Secondary Schools with Mention in: Area of ​​Language and Literature, Area of ​​Mathematics, Area of ​​Natural Sciences, Area of ​​Social Sciences.

In relation to research activities, she was serving as director of the project “The processes of knowledge construction about teaching practice in the Teaching of Educational Sciences of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario”, which is part of a program that also includes the Teacher Training Programs of the School of Music and the postgraduate programs dedicated to Professional Practice training at that Faculty, as well as the Teacher Training Program in Mathematics at the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Engineering, and Surveying. She also served as a member and coordinator of the PICTO-Redes project “Investigating the teaching activity in [unclear context]”.
