On Monday, December 4 at 10 a.m. in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Engineering and Surveying (FCEIA) located at Av. Pellegrini 250, restitution will be made to relatives of students who were victims of the illegal repressive actions of the Argentine state. in the period 1968-1983.

The activity, framed within the commemorations for December 10 - International Human Rights Day - and 40 years of uninterrupted Democracy, is organized by the Higher Polytechnic Institute and Faculty of Exact Sciences, Engineering and Surveying UNR based on the policy of historical reconstruction and reparation and rectification of Files of members of the university community who were victims of State Terrorism carried out by the Human Rights Area and UNR Academic Human Rights Council (UNR Higher Council Resolution No 727/2022). 

Notably It is the first time that an act of restitution of files has been carried out in these academic units, although the university records of 3 Polytechnic students were already returned in 2021 by the UNR Faculty of Humanities and Arts. Furthermore, in the case of the FCEIA it is a partial restitution, since the Faculty is in the investigation process and will continue to advance in this investigation and reparation process.
