At the University Cultural Center, the delegates reviewed and unified the articles of the new Santa Fe Constitution, in anticipation of its final approval.
The Drafting Commission of the new Constitution of the Province of Santa Fe met in the Universidad Nacional de Rosario to review the approved texts and harmonize them with the current articles. The meeting took place at the University Cultural Center (ECU) and was attended by all the constituent delegates elected for this task.
This body is responsible for integrating and systematizing the final text of the Constitutional Reform. Its task is to take a decisive step toward the approval of the new Magna Carta: analyzing the entire Constitution, unifying the innovative provisions with the preexisting ones, and ensuring coherence in the articles.
Rector Franco Bartolacci offered a few welcoming remarks, along with Felipe Michlig, president of the Reforming Convention, and Joaquín Blanco, president of the drafting committee.
“It is very important that the Public University be able to host this meeting, because it is a historic event for the Province of Santa Fe. The Constituent Convention is coming to an end, which will leave the people of the province with a new social contract that, from many perspectives, is a step forward, enshrining new rights for all citizens and doing so with strong consensus,” commented Rector Bartolacci, explaining: “Having this convention close in the University’s cultural space is an honor for us, and I want to thank the authorities of the Constituent Convention for having made the decision to ask us to meet with the drafting committee today here at UNR.”

During the session, the Commission reviewed the reports from the thematic committees, adjusted their wording without altering their meaning, and drafted a single text to be put to a vote. It also defined which articles would be incorporated, which would be modified, and which would be repealed, thus consolidating itself as the technical body for regulation.
