The Rector is the representative of the University and directs all its activities. He is elected by the University Assembly, his mandate extends for four years and he can be reelected only once.

 

Franco Bartolacci He was born in San Jorge, Santa Fe province, in 1975. He was Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations of the UNR in two periods (2011-2015 and 2015-2019). He graduated with a degree in Political Science with a concentration in Political Analysis, in that institution where he has also been teaching since 2003.

In 2019 he was elected by the University Assembly as Rector of the UNR. His term runs until 2023.
In 2023 he was re-elected as Rector by the University Assembly, his new mandate extends huntil 2027.
