More than 120 students from the UNR Faculty of Exact Sciences participated in this competition, held simultaneously in nine countries, to develop innovative solutions to the region's social, environmental, and productive challenges.

El Innovation Rally It is an open, collaborative learning international competition in which university students from diverse disciplines come together to address regional challenges posed by states, businesses, and NGOs, becoming a true laboratory of ideas that has the power to transform realities.

The Faculty of Exact Sciences of the UNR was the official venue for the city on October 10 and 11. For 28 hours, 1525 multidisciplinary teams from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Nicaragua, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Mexico worked to generate innovative solutions to real-life problems. The challenges consisted of addressing similar problems in Latin American countries with a creative and innovative solution that was economically feasible and viable from a social, environmental, and technical perspective.

The spirit of the Rally is to promote collaborative learning and foster the connection between universities, society, and the productive sector, strengthening young talent in a regional context demanding sustainable solutions. In the words of the organizers, it is a space where "the creative energy of students is put to the service of the development of our communities."

The initiative also seeks to transform universities into social innovation laboratories, where ideas are transformed into tools for change and improvement. The Faculty emphasizes that the experience "allows future professionals to confront real problems, interact with different sectors, and understand the value of knowledge applied to social transformation."

The local proposals were evaluated by a jury composed of members with recognized careers in the scientific, technological, and business fields, including Dr. Claudia Banchio, Dr. Esteban Serra, Dr. Roberto Aquilano, Master's Degree in Engineering Sergio Geninatti, Vice Dean of the FCEIA Master's Degree in Engineering Yolanda Galassi, and Ing.
