The University installed sanitary posts and a vaccination point as part of the return to face-to-face attendance in all its dependencies.
La Universidad Nacional de Rosario makes health posts available to its community in all its academic units. Voluntary COVID-19 testing and a strong health promotion campaign are carried out by health agents who will place special emphasis on informing about the importance of supporting collective care and the value of vaccination. In the coming days, a university vaccination center will also be added to the “7 de Abril” Health Center.
“As of today we are launching a health promotion and care program within the framework of the return of full face-to-face. In each of the health posts we will make available the possibility of performing the rapid detection test free of charge and we will have a University vaccination post for those who have not been able to take an appointment and want to do so. No one is going to be unable to do any type of activity, but we do want all things that are done within the University to be with due care”, expressed the rector Franco Bartolacci.
This resolution is of an enabling nature so that members of the university community can access to carry out academic activities in the different campuses of the University. A complete vaccination scheme against COVID-19 (2 doses) must be accredited by means of a certificate, card or official application; or HIGH COVID within the last 90 days; or a test with a negative result. They will be presented by the corresponding media: teachers and non-teachers through administrative channels and students through the Guaraní System.
“For our University it is very important to be able to maximize care policies. We have decided to recover full attendance, and in this process of increasing academic activities we need to guarantee conditions of safety and care for our community. It makes us very proud and we hope to be able to fully recover all the activities we carried out in university life prior to the pandemic”, Bartolacci highlighted.
The health posts have the participation of members of the UNR Health Center, advanced students of the Faculty of Biochemical Sciences, and graduates of the Sanitary Agent course of the School of Trades. The first to function are those located in the Health Area, University City, Economic Sciences, Exact Sciences and Agrarian Sciences, since they are the dependencies that fully resume their academic activities from this February 7. Then the remaining units will be incorporated as the days go by.
