FAQ
The Protocol applies to the entire university community (students, teachers, research, non-teaching or contracted staff). In its implementation, Attention Spaces are created by interdisciplinary teams made up of two leaders in each of the academic units and in the UNR.
You can consult with the care team any situation of violence for reasons of gender, sexual orientation or other types of violence that affect you or violate your rights to study or work. This includes forms of violence such as physical, psychological, sexual, economic or symbolic that take place within the University or through virtual means. At the same time, situations such as institutional violence are contemplated, and everything done with a sexist connotation.
The advice is free and includes the intervention of care teams and devices created to carry out interdisciplinary approaches. At the same time, the care team carries out its work under the guiding principles of: respect and confidentiality, non-revictimization, transparency in the administrative procedure, clear language, speed and a comprehensive approach.
The consultations carried out in the Attention Spaces are private and confidential. At the same time, the will of those who approach to consult, request intervention or report is respected at all times, no action is advanced that the person does not agree with. If the person consulting is under 18 years of age, the principle of progressive autonomy must be respected (considered in the civil and commercial code, as well as in Law No. 26.061).
No, the situations that reach the service area can be channeled as:
- Consultations: the first instance is a personal interview (which can be individual or collective). A meeting with the reference people of the space is arranged, which must be in a quiet place that respects privacy.
- Procedure: the consulted situation is evaluated and forms of action and general advice are proposed, enabling intervention, protection, prevention and repair measures.
- Complaint: the administrative procedure at all times must be agreed with the affected person. The care team will accompany and continue advising during this process. No legal action is necessary.
Each strategy is designed in a personalized way according to the type of situation, and is built between the team and whoever comes to consult and then decides to report it. In general, a first interview is carried out to talk about the situation and possible interventions and paths to follow depending on the situation are analyzed.
Yes, you can make the consultation individually or together with other people. Also, if you wish, you can also go along with the accompaniment of your union representatives, in case you consider it necessary.
If that person is a student, teacher, non-teacher or researcher, hired, you can tell them that the UNR has a team of professionals to address these situations and provide them with the means of contact.
If you consider that it is a case that requires immediate intervention and the person is not in a position to request advice, you can contact the team directly to report the situation and have them design an appropriate intervention strategy.
If you study or work at the UNR and you are going through a situation of violence, you can contact the Protocol Care Teams to receive accompaniment, containment care and comprehensive advice regarding your situation. If necessary and always with your consent, it articulates with other local institutions in order to provide you with adequate care and protection.
Yes, the team works from a perspective of sexual diversity, which is why comprehensive accompaniment is provided in these situations, free of discrimination.
The protocol contemplates situations of discrimination and non-respect for gender identity or sexual orientation
Yes, the management of the licenses is part of the strategies that are developed together with the team as well as the adequacy of the schedules, places or work or student activities according to each type of situation.

Law-National Law No. 26.061 -Law for Comprehensive Protection of the Rights of Boys, Girls and Adolescents-, Law No. 26.150 -Comprehensive Sexual Education Law- and National Law No. 27.499 - Micaela Law-, insofar as to the obligation of all UNR personnel to train and act with a gender perspective in pursuit of the prevention and elimination of violence against women.
