The various national and international situations linked to the world of work and organizations currently present a wide range of phenomena that require the greatest concentration and systematization of efforts from the academic world, with the understanding that the production of knowledge is a pillar. fundamental in the transformation processes in the social field.
The massive implementation of Information Technologies in work processes, the demand for highly qualified labor, the requirement for constant training of workers, the formation of deterritorialized organizational structures, the precariousness of workers, the replacement of labor by technology, the emergence of incipient pathologies associated with the organization of work, and the mechanisms by which the configuration of the world of work and organizations gives rise to processes of social inclusion and exclusion, are among some of the topics that are necessary tackle.
In line with what was stated, Work and Organizations constitute fields of convergence of knowledge whose approach requires an interdisciplinary approach and framework. The creation of the PEITO CEI-UNR must be considered at the intersection of the academic and political spheres. Since the need to gain understanding of these social processes, as well as participation in their transformation, bring together academia and politics in a common space.
