More than 40 UNR students will provide support to children from the Rosario Municipality's Cuidar Centers throughout their school careers.

The "Andamios" program, run by the General Directorate of Children and Families of the Municipal Secretariat of Human Development and Habitat, in conjunction with the UNR, presented its fifth edition at the Casa de las Infancias (Children's Home). This initiative, part of the Cuidar Plan (Care Plan), aims to strengthen vulnerable educational trajectories by encouraging the development of knowledge through play, reading, and creativity. At the same time, it provides a socio-educational training opportunity for facilitators, who undertake pre-professional social work experience in the area.

This year, the program will provide support to more than 600 children referred to the 43 Cuidar Centers, where they will be mentored by 43 students from various UNR programs, recognized as "scaffolders." These include Psychology, Social Work, Political Science, Education Sciences, Social Communication, History, Anthropology, Law, Cultural Management, Fine Arts, and Therapeutic Support. Aimed at children between 6 and 12 years old, the programs are held periodically according to their abilities and within a strategy to produce work based on academic content.

The presentation ceremony was attended by Rector Franco Bartolacci, Mayor Pablo Javkin, and Director of Human Development and Habitat, Nicolás Gianelloni. "I am proud that the University has the capacity and commitment to make this contribution and generate this active connection that allows us to sustain what is important," stated the Rector of the UNR, emphasizing: "600 children in Rosario have a State supporting them because we know the transformative role of education in creating the possibility of a different future."

For his part, Mayor Pablo Javkin stated that “the University is committed and is addressing the gap in access to knowledge,” and confessed: “We would love for these young people to be able to pursue university degrees.” Meanwhile, for
