The old homes were restored and will now house a reporting space, another space for the UNR store, and the publishing house.
At the end of June, the first phase of the restoration of the abandoned entrance vaults to Siberia was completed. Now renovated, they will now house a space for information and access to the campus, plus another space for the UNR store and the publishing house.
The restoration of these vaults, which are part of the historical heritage, is part of a series of interventions to preserve and enhance the UNR's heritage. In particular, in Siberia—where the secure bus stop was recently inaugurated—work is being done to improve every space on the university campus.
The restoration work included the restoration of the vaulted ceilings, their ceilings, and exposed brick facades to restore their morphological and aesthetic essence. In addition, the masonry of the ceilings was demolished to allow for a better view of the vaulting, and improved lighting was also incorporated.
