The authors published by UNR Editora, Beatriz Vignoli and Carlos Kuri, won first prizes in poetry and curatorial essay.
The Official Gazette announced the National Culture Awards for 2023, which have been suspended ever since. The first prize in the Poetry category went to Beatriz Vignoli, and the first prize in Curatorial Essay went to Carlos Kuri.
The National Awards of the Ministry of Culture aim to stimulate and reward scientific, artistic, and literary production. Since their inception in 1914, they have recognized the country's creators and researchers whose works contribute to the advancement of their fields and form part of Argentina's cultural heritage.
Beatriz Vignoli, The writer, journalist, and critic from Rosario received the news with great "joy and pride" and was pleased to be able to bring a reason for joy to the people of Rosario in these times.

Vignoli was honored for her career and her work "Tálamo," which focuses on the exploration of memory and identity. The word thálamo designates a "closed, intimate space," and the book represents a "return in search of identity through memory," working with encounters and legacies. It was originally published in 2022 by Nebliplateada. UNR Editora published her work "Molinari baila."
Carlos Kuri is an essayist and psychoanalyst of the Universidad Nacional de RosarioThe book “Archivo Piazzola” published by UNR Editora is based on original archives, from newspaper clippings, programs, foreign newspapers, to unique photos, records, letters, reviews, track lists and Piazzolla's influence on the most important musicians in the world.
It is a work of research and a narrative that traces Piazzolla's life from 1931 until his death, "with a very important aesthetic design that makes for a unique book," the author stated. The publication was featured at events such as the Rosario Book Fair and mentioned as part of cultural research collections.

“This award is a surprise; I had never participated in anything like this in the field of psychoanalysis and essay writing, but Nicolás Manzi, director of UNR Editora, had a lot of faith in the book and encouraged me to enter,” says Kuri. Then, he grasped the significance of this national prize, previously won by Lugones, Marechal, Borges, and Ricardo Rojas.
