La Universidad Nacional de Rosario The university is now accepting pre-registrations for four degree programs that will begin in 2026 at its new Faculty of Human Movement and Care Sciences, the institution's 13th academic unit. The programs offered by this new faculty are: Physical Education Teaching Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Physical Activity and Sports, Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Care Systems, and Technical Degree in Senior Care Support. The first three programs will last four years, while the technical degree will be completed in two years. Classes will begin in April 2026, along with the rest of the faculties at UNR.

The creation of the Faculty of Human Movement and Care Sciences was approved by the University Assembly at the end of 2024, marking a new milestone in the history and institutional growth of the University.

Rector Franco Bartolacci explained that these new programs incorporate a different perspective on care, with a more holistic approach, and also include innovations in institutional design. “This is the first faculty we've built from scratch, and we created it because the academic expansion of the UNR has been so significant in recent years that a new institutional space was needed to accommodate the continued growth of the University.”
