Cartographic Practices in Latin America

Cartographic practice It is creation, production and relational action, putting into discussion the common, the shared, the disputed.
It is narrative, representation, declaration, discourse and counter-speech. It is a tool for analysis, systematization, composition or dispute.
It is an outline of imperceptible worlds, of unequal realities, of structures of domination, of forms of emancipation.
It is a drawing of the dynamic, of what is in motion. It is practice not object, it is dynamic not thing; It is practice, practice of understanding.

In this context of crisis and uncertainty, this international training program is an invitation to critically address cartographic practices in relation to popular neighborhoods, territories of identities, memory, feminism and political ecology.
