The UNR Postdoctoral Program is a response to the current development of academic activities related to the training of graduates, which has taken on the characteristic of a continuous process that allows those who have reached the academic degree of doctors to be integrated into a knowledge construction network that broadens and deepens the achievements of the doctorate, in addition to enabling studies and research that are of significant scientific and social relevance.

Doctors who have graduated from Argentine or foreign universities can access the Postdoctoral Program.

It works centrally in the Office of the Rector of the UNR: Postgraduate Department, Academic and Learning Area.  

Within the framework of the program, an annual call is made, those interested must present the following documentation that must be sent by email to posdoc@unr.edu.ar: admission application form, research project, updated curriculum vitae, copy of PhD title and photocopy of identity document. The teachers of the UNR have discounted tuition.

The entry requirements are as follows (Article 1, Ordinance No. 738)

– Have obtained the doctoral degree with a seniority of not less than three (3) years at the time of application to the Program.

– Having partially or totally published the results of their thesis in a publisher with academic recognition or in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

– Having made three or more refereed publications.

– Having presented papers in academic activities of their specialty.

– Direct or be a member of a project or line of research.

– Having carried out accredited human resources training activities at the postgraduate and/or undergraduate levels, such as thesis supervision, postgraduate final projects, dissertations or tutorials for final undergraduate practices and/or having accessed a teaching position for contest.

– Applicants or Spanish speakers must prove, at the time of registration, the Advanced level of knowledge of the Spanish language, in accordance with the standards established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR). Applicants may accredit the indicated level through the international certificate: University Diploma of Competence in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DUCLE) from UNR or other international certifications recognized by the International Certification System for Spanish as a Foreign Language (SICELE).

As stipulated in the Ordinance No. 738, since the applicant is admitted, the period of duration is 2 years and requires the following academic commitments:

– Presentation of Progress Report the first year + Presentation in Conferences

– Presentation of Final Report the second year + Presentation in Conferences

– Presentation of the Seminar Program + Publication of the article
