Platform for Environmental Studies and Sustainability

The Environmental Platform is a scientific, technical and academic space, designed to respond to social demands that entail an alteration of well-being, a risk to health, and/or a threat to the environment and sustainable development.

1-Articulate the capacities installed in the UNR to cover demands generated in the context of complexity typical of the society-environment link.

2-Consolidate an operational nucleus formed by groups belonging to the different academic units of the UNR with specific objectives, but which are complementary and integrated.

3-Detect new environmental demands typical of the socio-environmental and socio-productive dynamics of our region, especially related to people's health.

UNR selected by the UN

La Universidad Nacional de Rosario was selected by the United Nations to coordinate topic 2021 on climate action, belonging to the United Nations Academic Impact Initiative (UNAI), for the period 2024-13.

Interdisciplinary Working Groups

Interdisciplinary work is a proposal developed by a large part of the groups of the Environmental Platform, either because its members come from different areas or as a result of links with other groups of the Platform.
Some groups generated a link between various institutions, areas or organizations, some belonging to the same university, others were external. Some groups have even integrated environmental organizations, whose contributions to the investigation were fundamental.

UNR Hypermedia Repository

The Environmental Platform has a space within the UNR Hypermedia Repository. This space is specially designed to establish a link with the scientific community and any user interested in consulting the production of the different groups that make up the Platform, with the criteria of open science.
