In the framework of the International Day of the ElderlyAt UNR we present an agenda with proposals ranging from screenings in Cairo and workshops to a planetary festival for senior citizens.

The University, through the Open University for Older Adults Program and in conjunction with the Municipality's Directorate for Older Adults, will carry out a series of activities throughout the month of October with the purpose of making older people visible and highlighting their rights.

At UNR we believe that a society is defined by how it perceives the treatment of children and the elderly, and our aspiration is that promoting good treatment for the elderly is a daily task, and it is with this spirit that we propose an agenda of activities that promote the rights of our elderly men and women.

OCTOBER 11 | SCREENING AND DISCUSSION OF WRINKLES EN CAIRO CINEMA

The Open University Program for Older Adults of the UNR invites to reflect on the rights of older people and the full exercise of their citizenship. After the screening of Arrugas, there will be a discussion with professionals linked to the proposed topic.

OCTOBER 16 | CONFERENCE NOT SO GOLDEN, NOR SO GREY
UNIVERSITY CULTURAL SPACE (San Martín 750) | 17 to 19 p.m.
Lecture by Dr. Ricardo Iacub (teacher-researcher at UBA) where we will seek to reflect on old age today, thinking about how we build new ideas of old age that are not only successful ones.

OCTOBER 19 | FESTIVAL FOR THE RIGHTS OF ELDERLY PEOPLE
MUNICIPAL ASTRONOMICAL COMPLEX (Av. Diario La Capital 1602) | 15 to 18 p.m.
In celebration of the month dedicated to raising awareness and defending the rights of older people, a festival with music, dance and live bands will be held.
In case of rain, the event will be moved to October 26 at the same time and place.
