The book "Geotechnologies in sustainable development" is a publication edited by the Disciplinary Nucleus of AUGM Geotechnologies and Atmospheric Sciences.
El Disciplinary Nucleus (ND) of Geotechnologies and Atmospheric Sciences of the Association of Grupo Montevideo Universities presents the publication "Geotechnologies in sustainable development", edited by Nestor C. Di Leo (FCA UNR) and David L. Rosalen (UNESP), both members of the ND of AUGM.
As described by its editors in the preface, “this technical book has as main objective to present the lines of work that are developed within the framework of the Disciplinary Nucleus […], focusing on those that present or propose a clear integration between Geotechnologies and its link with the UN SDGs.”
The topics from which the publication is addressed are natural resource management, climate change mitigation, urban and rural planning, risk management, among others, all of them related to the SDGs.
