“This is a space that we inaugurated within the framework of the UNR Feminist Plan so that Gobieron Headquarters workers who are mothers can feel contained and comfortable to mother in work spaces. This is a very important institutional advance that responds to a historical demand from the workers of our institution,” commented rector Franco Bartolacci.

This institutional advance reflects one of the historical demands of female workers. The refunctionalization and adaptation of the room destined for the Lactario space is the product of an initiative jointly managed by the Gender and Sexualities Area, headed by Dr. Florencia Rovetto, and the Infrastructure Coordination, headed by Architect Eduardo Bressan, and has the support of the Complementation Fund of the Social and Union Action Area of ​​the UNR.

The nursing room is equipped with a chair, a changing table and a refrigerator suitable for storing formula. In addition, it was specifically set to create an environment where both mother and child feel comfortable and contained.
