The building located at Montevideo 970 has two floors where 10 classrooms will function to accommodate students of new careers.
La Universidad Nacional de Rosario incorporated a new headquarters located at Montevideo 970, almost on the corner of San Martín. The building has 1800 m2 distributed over two floors that will be used to house a dozen classrooms for mass classes.
The incorporation of this new UNR headquarters is a consequence of the exponential growth of the academic proposal and the need to have more classroom spaces to respond to the demand that arises from the high enrollment of students in these new careers.
At the Montevideo and San Martín headquarters, there will be 10 classrooms and other facilities necessary for educational activity, such as: teachers' room, inclusive restrooms, and administrative offices. As of last week, the tasks to condition each space began with an estimate that it will fully function in the short term.

The rector Franco Bartolacci highlighted the expansion of the UNR that adds campuses and spaces for students: "In these years, despite the difficulties of the context and from a great effort of our institution, we grew a lot in terms of buildings, we started like never before before recovering the heritage of our University and adding new spaces, such as the headquarters that houses the Open University for Older Adults in the emblematic corner of Sarmiento and Córdoba”.
“Today we incorporate a new, impressive place, which will allow us to host the new careers and training paths that we are promoting. This new headquarters not only allows us to add more physical space, but also the ability to accommodate more students on more routes and, therefore, build more Public University”, he added.
The new careers created in recent times, such as Design or the Artificial Intelligence Technician, have generated a massive call for students who found the possibility of studying the career they wanted in the public sphere, so that they can count on a new space will enhance their development and growth.
“The world is changing rapidly and we need to multiply our academic training proposal, more careers in new formats to respond to the expectations of young people who, according to all statistics, move towards more diverse paths and areas that are not contained in the sections offered University today. And this growth of the UNR must be accompanied by more and better infrastructure that guarantees its completion. Today we are taking a very important step towards this goal,” said the rector.
