:: RATIONALE:  La Master in Management of Health Systems and Services offers interdisciplinary training aimed at strengthening the technical and political capacities of the actors to generate innovations and strengthen the development of policies, systems and health services that are more effective, efficient, equitable and aligned with the socio-sanitary needs of the population.

The Master seeks to train professionals with the ability to: identify and critically analyze the socio-economic, cultural and environmental phenomena that affect the health of the population; recognize the influence of the political and institutional context and; design, plan, implement, analyze and evaluate actions and intervention strategies.

:: DURATION AND MODALITY OF THE RACE: The total workload of the Master's is 700 hours. The Master's course lasts three semesters. The Master's Degree is taught in person articulated with the use of distance education devices and resources (EAD).

:: GRADUATE PROFILE: The Master in Health Systems and Services Management is a professional with skills and attitudes to design mechanisms to promote more effective, efficient and equitable health policies, systems and services and to describe, analyze, evaluate and monitor policies, systems, programs and health services, their context and their effects on the health, equity and well-being of the population.

The Master in Health Systems and Services Management knows different management methods and instruments to optimize the management of physical and financial resources, strengthen the workforce, improve the processes of policy formulation, management and decision-making, and promote institutional and organizational changes aligned with the fulfillment of the defined objectives.

:: ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must be graduates of legally recognized Argentine universities – national, provincial or private – with undergraduate degrees equivalent to those of this University or foreign universities, officially recognized in their respective countries in one of the following disciplines: Administration, Anthropology, Biology, Biochemistry, Social Communication, Political Science, Accounting, Law, Economics, Nursing, Statistics, Physiatry, Engineering, Surgical Instrumentation, Kinesiology, Medicine, Nutrition, Dentistry, Psychology, Sociology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Veterinary Medicine or other disciplines practiced by professionals who work in the field of policy formulation, decision-making and health management. The Academic Commission will evaluate applications for admission of professionals trained in disciplines not included in those specified.

The Academic Committee may evaluate the possibility of admitting the admission of applicants without a bachelor's degree who present an academic and/or professional record that equates their skills to those of applicants who have a bachelor's degree.
