:: RATIONALE: The Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies on Work and Organizations (MEITO) understands that the study of the fields of Work and Organizations involves a multiplicity of disciplines, which maintain relationships of integration and differentiation, producing complex tensions and contradictions in the field. of the social. Based on what has been said, the Study Plan covers two central dimensions. On the one hand, it is positioned from a critical point of view, regarding the relationship between Work and Organizations, since it covers social relations, impacting on mental health, economic, legal and political situations (among others). On the other, it aims for the teachers to appreciate the tensions between fields from an interdisciplinary perspective and the eventual consequences that we can find in societies, assuming that the relationship between Work and Organizations is central to the processes of subjectivation and human development. Secondly, a commitment is assumed in the incorporation of knowledge and perspectives that allow intervention, both academically and in professional performance, contributing strategies and methods that are linked to the common good.

:: GOALS:
- Train teachers who, from an interdisciplinary perspective, can address the complexity and tensions present in the fields of work and organizations.
- Develop in the / os maestrandas / os capacities for research, qualitative and quantitative, aimed at understanding the specific problems of work and organizations.
- Guide the analysis and practice in the fields of work and organizations, from a critical perspective, in order to provide intervention strategies.
- Define a modality of participation in the fields of work and organizations, with an eye on the social transformations of the time.
- Guide the training of teachers for professional performance, both as members of an organization or as external advisers or analysts.
:: GRADUATE PROFILE:
The Master's in Interdisciplinary Studies on Work and Organizations will have a solid theoretical, methodological and technical training in the fields of work and organizations. This will allow you, through interdisciplinary training, to address the problems of the fields of work and organizations based on the understanding of the complexity that they establish in the different territories.
Its main competencies include:
- An interdisciplinary approach to fields of work and organizations.
- A critical perspective with its gaze set on the social transformations of the time and its relationship with work and organizations.
- Interdisciplinary research on work and organizations, oriented to the study of local and regional realities.
- Design of intervention strategies that contribute to the quality of life of the population and development of organizations.
:: ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Those who meet the following conditions will be admitted to the Interdisciplinary Master's Program on Work and Organizations:
- Possess a degree corresponding to careers such as: Psychology, Sociology, Law, Political Science, Social Work, Social Communication, Economic Sciences, International Relations, Education, Medical Sciences, Lic. in History, Engineers, Architects, among other qualifications issued by Argentine universities - national, provincial or private - legally recognized, and comply with the specific requirements determined, for each particular case, by the Academic Commission of the career. The degree is aimed at those applicants, professionals and/or academics, who work or show interest in the fields of work and organizations from an interdisciplinary perspective.
- Possess degree titles equivalent to those indicated in the previous paragraph, issued by foreign Universities officially recognized in their respective countries, duly certified by the faculty, the Accrediting Body of their country or the corresponding Ministry. Its admission will not mean revalidation of the degree title.
- Those who hold non-university higher level degrees (with degrees similar to those indicated in the preceding paragraphs) of at least four (4) years' duration – in accordance with the provisions of art. 39 bis of the Higher Education Law - and meet the prerequisites determined by the Academic Commission in order to verify that their training is compatible with the demands of this career. In exceptional cases, those applicants who are outside the preceding terms and have academic, professional and/or labor preparation and/or experience, in accordance with the requirements of this master's degree, may aspire to be admitted. Said background must be endorsed by the institution in which the applicant works. The Academic Commission may propose leveling activities (directed reading, seminars or others) if it deems it necessary. The admission and obtaining of the postgraduate degree does not accredit in any way the previous degree corresponding to it.
- Non-Spanish-speaking applicants must prove the INDEPENDENT INTERMEDIATE level (B2) or higher level of knowledge of the Spanish language for registration, in accordance with the standards established by the MECRL (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). In the case of being admitted, they must prove, prior to the Thesis Defense or the Final Project, the ADVANCED level of knowledge of the Spanish language in accordance with the same standards. Applicants must accredit the indicated levels through the international DUCLE certificate (University Diploma of Competence in Spanish as a Foreign Language) from the UNR or other international certifications recognized by the International Certification System for Spanish as a Foreign Language (SICELE).
In all cases, the selection of the applicants will be resolved by the Academic Commission of the major, through a well-founded opinion, which will be duly communicated to the applicant.
