:: RATIONALE: The Master's Degree in Education, Image and Contemporary Languages is proposed as a space oriented towards training and research on the complex relationship between education and languages today, including communication technologies and the so-called "new media" associated with the “social networks” and the Internet, the different supports in which the image and its modulations are semiotized (photography, post-photography, cinema, etc.), art, performance, etc.
The Master's aims to address the need to build bridges, call for a dialogue and develop an approach that allows the consideration of its different dimensions and through diverse theoretical, epistemological and methodological proposals of these various areas of knowledge that already have a long roots -between those that we can mention, in the first instance, Education Sciences, Communication Sciences, aesthetic reflections and contemporary art theories-; A need that becomes relevant to the extent that the current mediatization processes suppose the advent of new cultural, social and educational scenarios that require innovative analysis strategies and interdisciplinary knowledge.

It is expected that he can work in the educational field, both in schools and in media pedagogy, producing visual pedagogy strategies and policies. Solidly trained in the interdisciplinary approach, his profile includes the generation and promotion of new perspectives and analysis around new languages and pedagogical experiences that encourage the formation of subjects who are critical of the challenges that a highly mediatized society currently poses. .
