The decision was agreed upon by the rectors this Wednesday at an extraordinary meeting of the National Interuniversity Council (CIN).

Meeting in an extraordinary session at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), the Plenary of Rectors of the National Interuniversity Council (CIN) unanimously agreed that public universities will resort to the courts to demand compliance with the Law on the Financing of University Education and the Adjustment of Teacher Salaries (Law No. 27.795).

"Forty years after the first plenary session of the National Council of Innovators (CIN), we meet again at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), this time to encourage universities to take a political stand demanding compliance with the law and respect for the republican system," emphasized the president of the Council, Oscar Alpa, summarizing the agreement reached by all the national university institutions present at the plenary session.
