The Directorate of Technological Linkage of the Area of Science, Technology and Innovation for Development, opens a new call for the “INCLUSIVE LINKAGE” Call.
The main objective of this initiative is to promote technological collaboration between the UNR academic community and local stakeholders involved in production processes, thereby enhancing the university's capacity to solve problems by generating innovative solutions and collaborative work mechanisms that contribute to the region's sustainable development. The deadline for project submissions has been extended; the new deadline is June 5, 2026.
Therefore, this edition continues to promote lines of research by UNR teams that address, in an interdisciplinary manner, topics of relevance to the local and regional socio-productive sector, strengthen service provision, foster the generation of strategic alliances, and enhance and develop new knowledge. As in the previous edition, funding will come from UNR's own resources generated by the provision of services and technological activities. The amount allocated for this edition is $110.000.000.
Applications may apply to one of three lines of financing:
1) Enhancement of Technological Service Delivery Capabilities (MCST): The objective of this line is to improve and enhance the capabilities of academic teams within the UNR community to provide technological services to third parties. Twelve projects will be funded with up to $7.000.000 each.
2) Technical Assistance to Municipalities (ATM): The objective of this line of action is to support technological linkage processes between academic teams and government actors in the areas of production and employment. Projects should aim to address problems related to territorial development and the building of local capacities.
The projects must be developed and implemented with at least one municipality as a counterpart. Four projects will be funded, with up to $2.500.000 each.
3) Introduction to Technology Transfer (ITT): The objective of this line is to encourage work teams that are beginning their involvement in technology transfer. It seeks to support the initial steps of collaboration with a partner, whether in the production of knowledge linked to an existing demand with potential for technology transfer, or in assistance with the development, validation, and prototyping of products and services, market entry, etc. Proposals that formally initiate work with a partner that has not previously participated in technology transfer activities will be given special consideration. Eight projects will be funded, up to $2.000.000 each.
The call for project proposals has been extended until June 5, 2026. Proposals must be uploaded to SIGEVA.
