To attend in person, a registration form was made available, but all available slots have already been filled. Each person who registered must pick up their ticket in person, presenting their ID, on December 3, 4, and 5, from 9 a.m. to 17 p.m., at the UNR Government Headquarters (Maipú 1065).
The award seeks to recognize an essential cultural icon of the city, whose work transcended borders and generations. Born in Rosario in 1963, Páez is considered one of the most influential artists in Argentine popular music. From his beginnings in the Trova Rosarina to his definitive consecration with "El Amor Después del Amor," the best-selling album in the history of Argentine rock, his career combines innovation, poetry, and a deep connection with local and Latin American identity.
Over the course of more than four decades, the artist released more than 30 albums, starred in international tours, ventured into film and literature, and shared stages with figures such as Charly García, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Mercedes Sosa, Caetano Veloso, and Joaquín Sabina, among many others. His work, marked by sensitivity, rebellion, and tenderness, became a cultural heritage that accompanied entire generations.
