About the CTeI Conference 2022

This year, the conferences will offer different formats and content for the communication of science designed with different objectives. From the well-known live poster sessions to the experiences of the boys and girls involved in the Saber Hacer Haikus space, who during the Visible the Invisible activity were encouraged to make poetry from the observation of nature.

Poster Sessions: Seven poster sessions will convene the UNR scientific and research community to show and share the progress of their research and projects. The online gallery of posters and narrated posters together with the session schedules can now be consulted here.

  • Thursday, October 27 at 9:30 a.m. “Big data, data science and the construction of scientific knowledge”.
  • Friday, October 28 at 16:00 p.m. “Cannabis and cannabinoids: multiple approaches in the link with the community”.

al dente science (Second season): Science, like cooking, is about processes, like a recipe we start from the observation of facts, from the ingredients of the world that surrounds us. Researchers formulate hypotheses, just as chefs imagine flavor combinations and put them to the test. Ciencia al Dente is a co-production with UNICanal, a space for in-depth interviews with researchers who are going to tell us in private about their career, scientific contributions, vocation and, at the same time, what their day-to-day life is like in their field of work and some features of his personality, tastes, anecdotes, affections. Four episodes with: Vladimir Cambiaso (FCAgr), Lucía Brienza (Fac. Psychology), Aníbal Rossi (FCPolit and RR.II.) and Vanina Villanova (FBioyF).

Know to do: How do I do it? How does it work? Where do I begin? Doing is discovered, testing is innovated and with curiosity we create. Boys, girls and adolescents experienced during the Visible The Invisible activity what things those who do science and poetry have in common, thus verses and stanzas were born from observation and experimentation. "Knowing Haikus" is the proposal that participants will be able to find in the conferences and on the social networks of @CienciasUNR.

Special mentions for narrated posters: Telling what we do from science and technology shows commitment and passion for research. During this 2022 edition of the CTeI Conference, many research and development projects were encouraged to tell in a few minutes what they do, how they do it, why they do it and thus disseminate, share and communicate to other audiences those who investigate. In recognition of this commitment, they will receive a special mention within the framework of this edition of the conference.
