On Friday June 28 from 17 to 21 p.m. On the first, second and third floors of Sarmiento 784, the Day for good treatment of older people, a day of celebration and reaffirmation of the right to a dignified life for older people through education, dissemination and awareness activities of the culture of good treatment, organized by the Open University Program for Older Adults in collaboration with various areas of the UNR.
It is an invitation to a collective celebration with the aim of raising awareness about the problem of abuse of older adults through talks and panels, live music, exhibition of artistic works, book fair, textile creation workshop , cinema debate, screen printing and printing, screenings and many more activities. For its part, the UNR health area will join with a health post where a vaccination center will be installed and the Student Orientation Directorate will participate by telling about the programs and benefits for University students. Various gastronomic proposals will accompany the event with appetizers and fast food for all tastes.

Activities of the day
The day on Friday, June 28, will begin at 16:30 p.m. on the Córdoba and Sarmiento pedestrian street with a performance by Coral Azul, the Program's choir; From here we move on to the interior of Sarmiento 784 where the opening ceremony will take place, followed by a series of talks that will address the problem of abuse of the elderly and the habits and practices of good treatment. At the same time, two books will be presented about power and local mafias and a third book with Santa Fe authors where the transition to retirement is addressed. In parallel, a series of games, a textile and printing workshop and a film debate space will be offered. On the other hand, in the computer room there will be virtual reality helmets that can be used and a training group in Artificial Intelligence for the elderly. Towards the end of the day, Paula Manaker will give a dance workshop to get in touch with the body and emotions.
