The Latin American Cooperation Institute (ICLA), dependent on the Universidad Nacional de Rosario and approved by the Superior Council in December 2011 (Res No. 439/2011), it was created as an innovative proposal for the promotion of the space that constitutes the UNR university community and its international projection.

ICLA considers cooperation as the creation of strategic academic links that promote an inclusive vision of Latin America, recognizing its constitutive diversity. The cooperation it promotes is directly linked to the main issues on the educational, economic and sociopolitical agenda of Latin America.

The main activities proposed by the Institute are the Chairs and the Integration Programs, which function as devices for the production and exchange of knowledge.
