Registration for the second semester of the University for Older Adults
On Monday, August 3, from 9 a.m. to 17 p.m. at the Government Headquarters (Maipú 1065) or through SIU Guaraní, registrations for the courses of the second semester of 2026 will open.
The University for Older Adults at the National University of Rosario (UNR) is opening a new registration period for its second semester. Spaces are available in the year-round courses already offered, and 13 new courses have been added to the program. The offerings cover topics such as history, art, philosophy, technology, film, health, and civic engagement, among others, with classes held Monday through Friday at various times.
“We are meeting again for the now traditional registration for the second semester, which allows us to expand the proposals we develop with our group of students every year. As always, we are renewing our commitment by providing opportunities to meet with established professors from the UNR, but also by offering new experiences with professors who, year after year, develop innovative learning pathways, in order to encompass the widest range of fields of action and interest offered by all the programs at the UNR,” explained Santiago Vieytes, director of the University for Older Adults program at the UNR.
The only requirement to register is to be over 50 years old at the time of enrollment . The program is free and open to the entire community.
