The School of Trades Universidad Nacional de Rosario The program began operating four years ago with the goal of providing socio-professional training tools through short training cycles. By 2025, the goal is to improve the student experience, expand the training offering, and ensure that as many people as possible can take advantage of these free courses. Therefore, pre-registration will be held in person on Tuesday, April 1st and Thursday, April 3rd, from 9 a.m. to 19 p.m., at the University Cultural Space (ECU), located at 750 San Martín Street.
During these two days, those interested can attend—on a first-come, first-served basis—informational talks about the first-semester courses, learn about the schedules for each of the training programs, and complete the requirements for final registration.
This new pre-registration option stipulates that each person must be able to enroll in a discipline and meet the following requirements: be 18 years of age, available to attend on the scheduled days and times, and have digital tools for those courses that require them.
It should be noted that two days with ample hours have been allocated to inform all attendees and to accommodate as many students as possible willing to complete the trade courses.

Since its creation in 2021, the School of Trades has sought to strengthen the skills and competencies of young people and adults to facilitate their access to the workforce and promote links with the University. In 2024, the program expanded its reach to different locations in Santa Fe, enabling 3.500 people to obtain their certification. In total, 11.000 graduates have now graduated since its inception.
The program offers socio-professional training through short courses designed to develop practical skills in various sectors, based on the demands of the productive infrastructure of Rosario and the region. Registration is open to all, with no prior education requirements.

New registration method
To optimize the allocation of vacancies, pre-registration for the Trade School courses will be held in person on Tuesday, April 1, and Thursday, April 3, at the ECU. Those wishing to enroll must complete a registration form with their personal, socioeconomic, and employment information. In addition, a brief interview will be conducted for some courses to determine each applicant's interest.
Placements will be assigned based on various priority criteria, such as employment status (formal or informal employment, unemployment), participation in previous editions of the Trade School, and other personal conditions, such as responsibility for caring for others.
This new methodology seeks to ensure more equitable access, avoiding the possibility of rapid online registration. A waiting list will also be implemented to fill any vacancies that may become available. Attendance at the first two classes will be mandatory; in the event of a no-show, the spot will be reassigned to the next person on the waiting list.
