Non-Spanish-speaking students wishing to enroll in undergraduate and graduate programs at the UNR must demonstrate knowledge of the Spanish language at the Independent Intermediate level (B2). In addition, graduate students must demonstrate an Effective Advanced level (C1) prior to their thesis defense. The PRAELEH (Academic Program of Spanish as a Foreign Language and for Spanish Speakers), part of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of the University of RÚ. Universidad Nacional de Rosario, is in charge of administering international certifications of Spanish as a foreign language, through the DUCLE Exam (University Diploma of Competence in Spanish as a Foreign Language). Once graduated, the interested party will obtain a diploma that enables him to practice professionally in the Argentine Republic.

Immigration requirements to carry out university studies in Argentina:
The UNR Internationalization Area issues the "Request to Enter the Country" Certificate, to be presented at the General Directorate of Migrations, certifying that the students have a provisional registration as students of the educational entity to study the studies that in the themselves are recorded.
The required documentation is:
- Regular student certificate
- If they are not regular students and come for an exchange, they will present an invitation letter certifying that they are doing the exchange
- Copy of passport
- Residence address in Rosario

– Students must apply for admission to the University from their country of origin and apply for a Visa at the Argentine consulate in their country.

Provision No. 20699 of the National Directorate of Migrations (DNM) establishes 3 types of international students to join university degrees:
- International students from Mercosur countries and associated states (Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela)
- International students from countries outside Mercosur who do not require a Visa to enter Argentina as Tourists:
