At the end he gave a conference entitled "University and Pueblo" in which he recalled the values ​​of the University Reform: "Knowledge should not remain locked in a classroom but be in constant relationship with the outside".

He is a popular Argentine singer-songwriter, a fervent defender of democracy and human rights, a cultural reference point for the country and Latin America. In recognition of his extensive career, who completed 40 years of dedication to music, the UNR named him Doctor Honoris Causa and this distinction also meant his return to face-to-face events after a year and a half of the pandemic. The ceremony was held at the University Cultural Space (ECU) on September 16, 2021 with limited attendance according to the protocols and also broadcast on YouTube.

Hermes Binner

Hermes Binner trained as a doctor at the UNR, was mayor of Rosario and governor of Santa Fe. The Superior Council decided to grant, for the first time in its history, a post-mortem Doctor Honoris Causa title in recognition of his tireless work and dedication to strengthen the health system of the city and the region. On July 1, 2021, in a ceremony attended by family, colleagues, friends and broadcast online, honors were paid by naming Hermes Binner to the Área Salud university dining room. In addition to specializing in Anesthesia and Occupational Medicine, it was at the university where he began in politics, forever embracing his vocation for the public sphere.

Alberto Campo Baeza is an architect and was distinguished for his more than 30 years of experience embodied in publications that account for his project processes, theoretical reflections and result in a didactic contribution in the early years of his career, where the explicit conceptual background and clarity constructive are essential. Sponsored by the Faculty of Architecture, the distinction was made in times of pandemic through a ceremony that was broadcast online on June 24, 2021 and culminated in a presentation called Manifesto in favor of beauty. "This manifesto wishes to convince of the need to cultivate the fine arts and teaching in relation to the cultivation of intelligence. Because beauty is inextricably linked to reason and truth", closed the Spanish architect.

Claudio Hummes is a Brazilian archbishop and cardinal of the Catholic Church, currently prefect emeritus of the Sacred Congregation for the Clergy in the Roman Curia and president of the Ecclesial Conference of the Amazon. He is known as the "worker bishop" for his work in defense of workers. In the act that took place via zoom on June 18, 2021, Cardinal Hummes was recognized for "giving his life to the forgotten of the world" and for his defense of the Amazon ecosystem. Celsus Amorim

Celso Amorim was Minister of Foreign Relations of Brazil in the governments of Itamar Franco and Lula da Silva, as well as Minister of Defense in the first government of Dilma Rousseff. Amorim has always promoted and defended Latin American integration, understanding that the relationship between Argentina and Brazil is the backbone of regional integration. In 2009, he was indicated by the American magazine Foreign Policy as "the best Minister of Foreign Affairs in the world". proposal of the Faculty of Political Science, on June 3, 2021 the UNR awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa in an act that was carried out virtually and was attended by the President of the Nation Alberto Fernández.

Ticio Escobar

Ticio Escobar is a curator and art critic, professor, and cultural promoter. Born in Paraguay in 1947, he was the founder of the Museum of Indigenous Art, president of the Association for the Support of Indigenous Communities, director of Culture of Asunción and Minister of Culture of Paraguay between 2008 and 2013. Author of the National Law on Culture of Paraguay and co-author of the National Heritage Law. He wrote numerous books on the theory of art and culture, received international awards, including the Bartolomé de las Casas Award for his support of indigenous causes in America. He is currently the director of the Center for Visual Arts / Museo del Barro. The UNR granted the honoris causa distinction on March 19, 2021 at the request of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts.
