Guides for a day is a proposal that seeks to create a space for the exchange of knowledge and a rereading of the proposals of local museums to carry out a visit mediated by older adults.

The call for applications is open until Wednesday, June 19. Guides for a day so that older adults can become museum guides, valuing their knowledge and practices.

The activity will take place in three meetings, the first to share and socialize the proposals of all the museums with the purpose that people choose according to their interests, a second meeting to make a visit and contact the pedagogical and educational teams of the museums, who will share the scripts to rethink the visit and finally the visit made by the person or group of people, according to the re-reading they make of the exhibition proposal.

Visits may take place in the following spaces:
> Castagnino Museum
> Museum of the City of Rosario Wladimir Mikielievich
> Estevez Museum
> Memory Museum
> Macro Museum
> Municipal Astronomical Complex

This proposal is part of the program Most Open Museums, belonging to the Secretariat of Culture and Education of the Municipality of Rosario, which seeks to overcome the geographical, physical, symbolic, economic, cultural, action and participation barriers that intervene in citizen access to the exercise of cultural rights.
