PROJECT. RATIONALE:
Considering that the regulatory framework of Comprehensive Environmental Education (Law No. 27621 of 2021) promotes transversal educational processes, in this research project, a group of teachers of various FCEIA subjects unified by the motivation to address environmental problems, It is proposed to begin to weave together the first points of the network of integrality and transversality for an IEA in said faculty. In this sense, the need to identify common curricular contents to weave a plot between the subjects is evident. Likewise, based on the guidelines of Popular Education and the contributions of Paulo Freire, it is intended to make a contribution to teaching practice that promotes critical and holistic training, and the collective production of knowledge, necessary for this purpose. In this sense, and considering the environment as a complex system, any attempt to address the environmental crisis in which our planet finds itself must start from a dialogue of knowledge. We not only talk about disciplinary knowledge but also popular knowledge, agreeing on ethical positions and overcoming the limitations of normal science, as postulated by Funtowicz and Ravetz, in their concept of postnormal science.
General objective:
Analyze the potential and difficulties of teaching practices, in relation to education environmental and the training of professionals in natural sciences, exact sciences and engineering.
