Project: Measurement of the concentration of environmental pollutants and their impact on health.
Related objective: To expand the identification and quantification of different environmental pollutants.
Overview: This area is responsible for identifying and quantifying environmental contaminants in samples from subprojects and will provide the corresponding reports. For this stage, the acquisition of more equipment and obtaining the necessary certifications are proposed so that the generated data carries expert weight in addition to its scientific value, given that the study communities have previously filed complaints with environmental organizations regarding the pollution problems they are experiencing. Furthermore, the area plans to offer services to the scientific community of the twelve academic units, enabling university research groups to reduce the cost of studies by contracting with private entities or other universities.
