Observatory

It is more than an Observatory for graduates...

Designed for a time in constant movement, the UNR Graduate Monitoring Observatory is a tool built to implement digital technologies as an integral part of graduate monitoring processes. Designed with an open and collaborative character, with a work agenda built around the active participation of multiple stakeholders, blurring the border between inside and outside.

observe to diagnose

The economic, social and technological transformations produced in the last decades have had an impact on the labor market, affecting not only employment but also the required profiles. In this context, the need for the University to inquire about the performance of its graduates becomes evident, with the aim of identifying whether the academic training received is adequate to the new skills, complexities and demands of the world of work.

Diagnose to transform

The challenge? Project and design an instrument that allows the systematic collection of data from graduates and promotes research on this problem. The objective? Produce relevant information about their academic trajectories and labor insertion processes. How do we do it? Building dynamic datasets that serve for decision-making on academic policies; they will be public and open to promote institutional transparency.

We seek…

  • Provide quality indicators for decision-making related to academic planning.
  • Systematize information about our graduates that allows evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the training received.
  • To become a space for academic exchange and constant improvement of study plans, research, science and technology, and university extension.
