This course seeks to lay the foundation for a career in data analytics, with a significant emphasis on basic statistical fundamentals. Due to its versatility and widespread use as an office tool, Excel is often the entry point for anyone working with data. This course aims to help students learn the fundamentals of the most basic statistical concepts and apply them to generating data-driven reports. Students will also take their first steps in using SQL.

You will acquire tools in:

  • The fundamentals of data analysis.
  • Spreadsheet skills
  • Preparation of descriptive analyses.
  • Generation of reports and basic queries in SQL.

You will be able to develop in:

  • Administrative areas of different types of organizations.
  • Areas of the firms where systematic records of activities are kept.

Registration:

  • Being over 18 years.
  • Basic PC knowledge (exclusive).
  • Minimum knowledge of mathematics.
  • Access to PC with internet connectivity.

Approval:

  • 75% attendance.
  • Approved practical work.

What objectives does the course have?

Establish the statistical foundation for continuing a path toward data analysis. This course aims to help students learn the fundamentals of the most basic statistical concepts and apply them to generating data-driven reports, taking their first steps in using SQL.

IMPORTANT: Only one course registration per person is allowed.
