The course of the Diploma in Gender and Community Participation begins in the towns of Cañada de Gómez, Villa Constitución, Rosario, Casilda and Venado Tuerto. 

The first edition of the Diploma in Gender and Community Participation began with the participation of 300 women and sexual diversities from social and popular organizations. 

The training is promoted by the Government of Santa Fe, through the Ministry of Equality, Gender and Diversity, together with the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR), through the Gender and Sexualities Area. 

“We are beginning a free and quality training policy, which follows the mandate of the Provincial Governor Omar Perotti and the Minister of Equality Florencia Mariano, to decentralize public policies to bring them closer to the territories, hand in hand with local governments, the territorial organizations and, in this case, together with the Public University”, declared the Secretary of Training Luciano Fabbri. 

“It is a policy that recovers the demands and needs from below and promotes community productions to build a more equitable life free of sexist violence in the territories”, added Florencia Rovetto, Secretary of Agesex-UNR.

The diploma course lasts five months, from June to October inclusive. The content is organized into three thematic units: Gender and diversity approach; Sexist violence, approaches and promotion strategies in gender and diversity; and Care of our bodies and territories; plus the presentation of a final group work, aimed at developing a territorial intervention project.

The course modality is face-to-face and weekly, in each of the locations, interspersed between classes and tutorials. The thematic units will be developed during classes and will be resumed in tutorials specially designed for pedagogical support and the development of territorial intervention projects.

The learning proposal seeks to approach a variety of topics related to gender and sexuality issues in the territories, so the contents are developed based on popular education methodologies whose design and experimentation is based on the possibility and potentiality. of the face-to-face meeting, favoring the workshop device.
