The UNR will implement these schools together with the Rosario Municipal Council and the Municipal Consumer Office.

In an act held at the Municipal Consumer Office, facing the Córdoba pedestrian street, the Rector Franco Bartolacci, the Director of the Water Chair and the Interdisciplinary Water Center of the UNR, Aníbal Faccendini, the President of the Municipal Council of Rosario María Eugenia Schmuck and the head of the Municipal Consumer Office, Antonio Salinas, promised to implement the itinerant Schools for the environment, water, climate and the consumer.

These constitute a pedagogical device in which teachers, specialists, referents of citizenship and suitable in the different referred subjects will carry out courses and training days open to the general public, free and itinerant in different parts of the city, such as municipal districts, neighborhoods, clubs, churches.

“It is a pedagogical tool for circularity in different entities so that we all learn to defend rights as consumers,” explained Faccendini, who stated that the launch of these traveling environmental, water, climate and consumer schools will allow for a more comprehensive vision where the right of the consumer is considered a human right and is not restricted only to a question of prices. He also argued that "this action plan is a great step forward to ensure that the right of jugs, which is the right to free and free water, is finally strengthened,"

"These traveling schools will allow the right of the consumer to be considered a human right," said Faccendini.

Rector Franco Bartolacci stated that "it is absolutely inadmissible that in the country and in the city today there are people who do not have access to such a basic and elemental right as water." “We conceived a University facing the problems of the people, which means putting everything we do to provide a solution to urgent issues”, he highlighted.

In this sense, he said that the environmental question was the first axis that was raised as a challenge from the beginning of his administration and within it, the question of water. “We must build an agenda that indicates to the national scientific and technological system and to public universities the priority issues. The environmental issue and in particular that of water is for the UNR and we are going to promote all actions and collective work to add and make our contribution”.
