For his extensive academic career, built works and written texts, the Architect Alberto Campo Baeza was distinguished with the highest title of the University.

In a broadcast on the official UNR YouTube channel and with the presence of 1500 people, Rector Franco Bartolacci awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to the Architect Alberto Campo Baeza, under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Design, Adolph Del Rio.

“We are recognizing his testimony of life, his art, his excellence, his professional imprint, his architecture that is educational and that place that we reserve for him as a teacher, who with his academic and professional development challenges us, mobilizes us, moves us, invites us to think and imagine and make possible that different world that we need”, he said.

The Rector of the UNR highlighted that it is the most important title awarded by a University and, at the same time, the expression of the institution's will to formally incorporate it into the body of professors. “When institutions recognize someone, when they decide to honor a career, they also show what they want to be.
