The UNR gave him the highest distinction for his career in the legal field, his contributions to scientific research and academic activity in which he demonstrated his commitment to teaching philosophy of law.
Dr. Ricardo Guibourg received the Honoris Causa Doctorate from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario in an event held at the Faculty of Law that was chaired by the Rector Franco Bartolacci and the dean of that house of studies Hernán Botta, godfather of the honoree. The distinction was broadcast by the UNRoficial YouTube channel.
"It is a privilege to incorporate him into the faculty for his outstanding academic and scientific career," said Dean Hernán Botta, adding: "Considered one of the most important exponents of analytical philosophy in our country, we are privileged to have his teachings in our classrooms." He also highlighted his conceptual constructions in the field of philosophy of law, his mother science, as well as other areas in which he excelled.
Botta highlighted his idea of the demystification of legal and political thought and "the importance of transmitting to the student the love for thought and its motto: clarify and demystify."
Dr. Juan Jose Bentolila read the laudatio in which he described the trajectory of the honoree. Guibourg is a Lawyer and Doctor of Law and Social Sciences, he simultaneously developed two activities: teaching and judicial. He was a Judge of the National Chamber of Labor Appeals, UBA Emeritus Professor, UBA Category I Researcher, Director of the UBA Law Philosophy Department.
Likewise, he was president of the Argentine Association of Labor Law and Social Security, of the Argentine Association of General Theory of Systems and Cybernetics and of the Argentine Association of Philosophy of Law. He is the director of the Master's Degree in Philosophy of Law UBA and Vice President of the International Society of Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy.
He received the Konex Award in 1996 and was a member of the jury for the same in 2006. He published 15 books and more than 200 articles on philosophy of law, logic, epistemology, ethics, philosophy, labor law,
