Academic Coordinator: Lic. Juan Marcos Aviano

Technical Secretariat: Eng. María Belén Suarez and Lic. Rita Galiardi

:: RATIONALE:

Regional development is experiencing significant changes due to productive diversification, the incorporation of new technologies, the circular economy and the 4.0 transformation. In a complex international context, it is necessary to compile diagnoses and academic efforts to support Argentina, especially in the Central Region and Greater Rosario, to eliminate territorial and social inequalities.

Gran Rosario is an important logistics and commercial node in the Central Region of Argentina, focused on the production of agri-food. An increase in agricultural production is expected in the coming years, making it necessary to invest in infrastructure to maintain economic growth, reduce production costs and improve quality of life.

The Undergraduate Diploma in Regional Development Management seeks to promote regional cooperation between universities, teachers, students, the private sector and civil society. It focuses on promoting economic and productive projects, applying science and technology in line with the bioeconomy and the circular economy, with the aim of creating a more equitable and inclusive society. The diploma focuses on updating the theoretical aspects of regional development and promoting territorial work with key actors.
