UNR diplomas and certificates are made through a controlled process and with the highest quality standards.
Since October 2020, the Digital Management system for Diploma applications has been implemented, which allows receiving online, through the GUARANI and WEMES systems, Diploma applications and data from each faculty, optimizing times and eliminating possible errors.

The certification process is carried out -completely online- before the Ministry of Human Capital - Secretariat of Education of the Nation through the SIDCER system, which allows diplomas to be delivered to graduates with the completion of the process included. This enables the automatic entry of the graduate into the National Registry of Graduates.

The application for certification of documents before the Ministry of Human Capital Education – Secretariat of Education of the Nation is made at the UNR Diplomas and Certifications Directorate, at Maipú 1065, “Salón Vitraux” Office on the Ground Floor. Requirements:
To start the process:
-Submit the original diploma together with the Analytical Certificate. It is important to clarify that the Analytical Certificate must correspond to an issue from the year 2018 or later. If, on the contrary, the Analytical is prior to 2018, a new one must be requested in the corresponding Academic Unit.
– It can be managed by a third party. It is not necessary to have a power of attorney.

To remove the documentation:
– Submit the Receipt prepared and delivered by this Department at the beginning of the process. (It is not proof of payment)

– Approximately 180 business days, according to the delay of the Ministry of Education of the Nation

How is the process for the degree title from the beginning until it is withdrawn
Once the documentation required by students has been sent, the graduation process begins:

1- Students verify the Academic History based on the Original Exam Records, issue the forms SUR 19 (academic data) and SUR 22 (data from the
diploma); and generate a file.

2- The Board of Directors of your Faculty issues the Resolution that issues the certificate for the granting of your degree; which is added to the file and it is sent to the Headquarters of
UNR Government.

3- Academic and Learning Area - Government Headquarters UNR- controls the academic requirements.

4- Directorate of Diplomas and Certifications -UNR Government Headquarters- manages the Rectory Resolution that orders the granting of your degree and the issuance of your diploma and
adds it to the file. Prepares the diploma; manages and certifies the signatures of the UNR authorities: Rector, General Secretary and Academic Secretary, and then proceeds to legalize the diploma before the Ministry of Human Capital – Secretariat of Education.

5- The diploma is withdrawn by the person in charge of your Faculty; and then signed by the Dean and the Academic Secretary of your Faculty.

Finally the graduate signs his diploma and picks it up. Congratulations!

How is the process for the postgraduate degree from the beginning until it is withdrawn
Once the documentation required by Students/Postgraduates has been sent, the graduation process begins:

1- Students/Postgraduate verifies the Academic History based on the Original Exam Records, issues the SUR 19 (academic data) and SUR 22 (diploma data) forms; and generate a file.

2- The Board of Directors of the Faculty issues the Resolution that issues the certificate for the granting of the degree; which is added to the file and it is sent to the Headquarters of
UNR Government.

3- Postgraduate Department – ​​Academic and Learning Area Government Headquarters UNR controls the academic requirements.

4- The Directorate of Diplomas and Certifications - UNR Government Headquarters - manages the Rector's Resolution that orders the granting of your degree and the issuance of your diploma and adds it to your file. It prepares the diploma; manages and certifies the signatures of the UNR authorities: Rector, General Secretary and Academic Secretary, and then proceeds to legalize the diploma before the Ministry of Human Capital - Secretariat of Education.

5- The diploma is withdrawn by the person in charge of your Faculty; and then signed by the authorities of your Academic Unit.

Finally the graduate signs his diploma and picks it up. Congratulations!

The diploma issuing process is certified according to ISO standards by IRAM and IQ Net. The certificates issued have the following security measures:

1-Anti-photocopy ink, with viro and fluorescence under ultraviolet light.

2-Hologram with silhouette of the UNR emblem.

3-Invisible background perceptible under ultraviolet light.

4-Security numbering on the back, with a UV-protected marking.

Other types of documentation must be legalized in the corresponding Academic Unit, with the exception of those coming from CERIR, CEI, Teachers and Non-Teachers of UNR.
-Present original supporting documentation, without exception.

Canon
It is $500, photocopy authentication.

The beginning of the revalidation application implies the knowledge of the Ordinance No. 631 and the Ordinance No. 728.

IMPORTANT: The documentation required by the ordinances must be apostilled and subsequently translated by a national public translator if applicable.

First step. Those interested should send the documentation required by the Ordinances by email and in PDF format (not exceeding 20 MB per document) and with good definition to:

Also, add –and in the same PDF format-:

  1. Request for file use this note template of revalidation of degree or recognition of partial studies written accurately in Spanish or in your language if it is not Spanish-speaking, which corresponds to your University.
  2. Proof of payment of the fee or invoice (from the academic unit where your program corresponds).

Second step. The Legalization Department creates a "procedure" using the Sudocu system containing the documentation it controls, which is then sent to the Academic and Learning Department for technical analysis.
In the event of any comments regarding the documentation submitted—by the Legalization Department and/or the Academic and Learning Area—the interested party will be notified by email for further comment or correction as appropriate.

Third step. Once the PDF documentation has been submitted correctly and completely, the interested party or their representative will be contacted via email to arrange for the physical submission of the documentation for verification and digital certification of the photocopies (the originals will be returned at the same appointment).

Fourth step. Having complied with the requirements of the UNR Ordinances, the digital file is sent to the corresponding academic unit for the purposes set forth in the Ordinances.

ATTENTION:
Submitting the documentation by email does not grant the right to appear in person. An appointment will be scheduled when the documentation is complete and correctly submitted, as stipulated in Ordinance No. 631 and Ordinance No. 728.

NO PHYSICAL DOCUMENTATION WILL BE RECEIVED UNTIL AGREED BY EMAIL.
